Colony Cargo

We started working with a salesperson early January 2021. After getting the quote we e mailed her and told her we were interested.

Since we never heard back from her called the company and found out she was no longer there. Got a new salesperson who seemed very nice. After working with her for a few months we gave her 500 to start drawings. We then sent in 50 percent to start the trailer.

We were then told our quoted price was no longer valid and they had to raise the price. We asked them if this was the final price hike and they could not guarantee it. Their contract does state they can raise the price but one would assume that is only during quote phase and not after deposit.

They did refund our deposit minus the 500 for cad fees. Never heard of a company able to raise prices after down payment.

Umm where do I start!!!I havent got my trailer to say if its good or not but I can say the customer service started off GrEAt n helpful until they got my MOnEY!!! Dee informed me 3-6 months due to the Pandemic and I thoughtok finewellllll that time has passed and the customer service got very poor n rude!

A employee hung up in my face today n all I wanted to know was when will my trailer be ready bec its passed the 6months! Dee called me back private vERY rude!!! She informed me she wasnt giving me my money back n to sue hershe also said she didnt know when my trailer would be ready!

Thats no way to treat a customer especially when u got their moneyGuys I wouldnt get a trailer from this company until the pandemic is over withmaybe then they can keep their word on the building time or at least communicate!! I hate to word a bad review but if you could hear how they was on the phone talkingits like we got ur money now F off until we give it to you!!

BUYER BEWARE…I suggest Colony Cargo Practice Quality Control in the production and delivery of their custom trailers. It would also be beneficial to all involved if the owner Tim Woods practices the “Christian Values” that he bases his business on.

I have been a customer of Colony Cargo since 2010.
I have purchased 6 trailers since then and brought a friend with me this LAST TIME who also purchased a trailer. I understand that we do not live in a perfect world and production trailers are not going to be delivered 100% perfect. With that said I always accepted the delivery and Tim and I would work out any serious issue and chuckle about “the next time we’ll get it right”.
With the most recent build I ordered concession doors installed in the sides, along with a number of other items that were important to me. I received the call that the trailer was ready and paid for the trailer to be delivered from Fitzgerald GA to Ocala, Fl, approx. 325+miles.
The trailer was delivered as agreed and immediately put into storage as I was leaving for vacation.
I started the new year with the intention of outfitting the trailer for scheduled work.
The first thing that was obvious was the Concession doors on the right side were stubborn to open….”I mean like stuck closed”, The Jack was welded 3 inches short of where I needed it, The Battery box for the brakes was mounted 2 inches above the tongue, interfering with the installation of an item on this end, one month after delivery the Tongue is rusting as a result of only a dusting of paint being applied, The return Spring cables on the ramp door are not adjusted equally, one of the concession door Latch’s on the left side is broken, the Concession doors on the left side did not have the gas prop rods installed to match the right side…homemade supports were substituted in a slap dash manner.
I’m sad to say, Tim Woods is not the nice guy that he comes across to be. He has no appreciation for loyal customers. The reason I state this is after noting the deficiencies in this unit, I wrote an email to Tim Woods, listing the issues and asking that he tell me what the plan would be to resolve the issues.
His reply was a one liner (Jim, I forwarded your email to the warranty dept at Arising Industries. Tim )
I have never had a response from Arising Industries or a follow up from Colony Cargo
So remember...BUYER BEWARE....

Please do not go with this company. We asked if our food trailer would pass code for our state and was assured multiple times that it would.

We picked up the trailer and took it to our state inspector and failed the inspection and had to come out of pocket $1100. When we spoke with Tim, he was extremely rude and said he is not compensating us at all. We offered to provide receipts and documentation of what was not done properly and Tim refused.

The materials used were very cheap and hazardous. Dont waste your time with this company.

I ordered a trailer from Colony Cargo, it exceeded my expectations. I had it ordered to match Harley-Davidson colors with HD logos.

Everyone that sees my trailer comments how good it looks. It performs just as well. I ordered with the checkerboard floor, electric brakes, mag wheels and floor tie downs. It also has an access door so you can enter without dropping the rear door.

Great trailer, if I needed another trailer I would purchase another from them. The price was several thousand dollars less than my local dealers in northern Virginia.

My Harley-Davidson Road Glide Ultra fits nicely with plenty of room to spare. It makes going to far motorcycle rallies easy.

It lets me bring all my stuff like canopy and riding supplies. I tow it with a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country 1500 pickup with no problems.

I had an experience this weekend on a trailer that was supposed to be made for me from Conley cargo trailer which was not made correctly I called down there today and talk to JC A salesperson there and he told me he would call and get back with me either by phone call or email that never happened again nobody down there can keep their word when they tell you something that just shows you what kind of people they are they give you *** poor service Conley cargo trailers Fitzgerald Georgia

NPE ordered a custom cargo trailer February 2017 for Company events beginning in May 2017, trailer was to be completed in 10 weeks. Now told June 16-23!

NPE ordered a custom cargo trailer Invoice 5188 for $20,810.00 February 6, 2017 with a down-payment of $18,055.00 specifically for Company events beginning in May 2017. A Certificate of Origin was created March 9, 2017. Colony Cargo was to deliver the trailer in 10 weeks. After many attempts to contact them via email and phone they finally responded with a delivery date of June 16th-23rd.

We have contacted Tim Woods, Jon Harkness and JC Graham all part of this process.

(Colony Cargo, American Trailer Pros) We trusted them since their website said they are Christians and have an excellent BBB Rating. We fear they have been using our money for purposes other than completing our trailer.

Very poor customer service. I had been talking to Carrol on the phone for 2 weeks.

He said he had a 7 x 14 Arising trailer coming in. He told me I could put money down to hold it but he said wait until the unit actually came on to his lot then they would call me once it came in and I could put the money down. No big deal until I call him the day I was coming from 900 miles away to see if it was in or not. That's when he said he sold it.

Not very Chistian of him as he so proudly states on his site.

I understand he has a business to run but your business means nothing if you don't follow through with your word! Just be a careful consumer and do some follow up like I did before you actually do business with Colony Cargo.

Bought a trailer from Tim, was told I'd get it in 4 weeks. Ended up being TWICE as long of a wait and now I've spent more time fixing the piece of *** than I have been on the road with it.

Terrible trailer, made like *** with unskilled workers to keep the price low. This thing is only worth it's weight in SCRAP!

I would NOT recommend anyone buy a trailer from Colony Cargo. Less than 4 months and this thing is falling apart because it's practically held together with bubblegum and tape. Do you research before you buy your trailer!
